This September, the Circulayo team is trading in their laptops for steering wheels, as they hit the road in a car for less than £500 as they take part in the Pavestone Rally 2025 for five days to raise money for charity.

From the 3rd to 8th September, the Eco-Vikings will be on the road for their five-day fundraising adventure that will take them through Germany, Sweden, and the Netherlands. Along the way, they will be dressed in questionable costumes and competing in crazy challenges that will ensure plenty of laughs along the way.

A green car covered in stickers for our charities and has a tank on the top of the car. There are four people stood around it in spanish outfits, such as traditional dresses, ponchos, sombreros, and a funny costume,
Tracey, Rachel, Gary, and Andy (L-R) make up our team of Eco-Vikings.

This is our third time joining the Rally, and our Eco-Vikings are once again driving with purpose, raising funds for six life-changing charities:

A Closer Look at What Your Donation Goes Towards

One of our chosen charities, Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity, funds projects that improve the experience for patients, families, and staff across local hospitals, from life-saving equipment to small, powerful touches that bring comfort.

Recent initiatives include:

  • Cold caps to help chemotherapy patients reduce hair loss.

  • Sponsoring spaces at the Transplant Games.

  • The Happiness Project, an interactive light sensor helping neuro rehab patients regain movement and confidence through play.

Three images. On the left, the image is of new cold cap machines for chemotherapy patients. In the middle is an image of someone on the Transplant team wearing a shirt saying "Royal Derby Transplant Team" stood opposite some archery targets. On the left image is a group of people around a table with some activities from a projector that encourage them to improve mobility. There are staff members standing around the table assisting the patients.
The funds raised go towards a variety of different projects, both large and small, across the entire hospital.

“Support from companies like Circulayo makes a real difference to our charity and the hospitals we support. It helps us do more to make time in hospital that bit easier for patients and staff. We’re really grateful to have Circulayo alongside us, supporting the people who rely on our hospitals every day.” – Alison Furlong, Charity Head of Fundraising, Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity.

At Circulayo, we’re all about using technology to make positive change, and the Rally is no exception. As well as raising funds, we’re sponsoring the event to bring a little sustainability into the mix. This year, we’re helping each team track their car’s carbon emissions and monitor plastic savings when refilling reusable bottles, showing that even in the most unconventional settings, we can make more informed choices for the planet.

How You Can Get Involved

We’d love your support as we set off on this slightly wild, wonderfully meaningful adventure. Here’s how you can help:

  • Make a donation – Every contribution, big or small, will help these six charities continue their incredible work, donate here.

  • Sponsor our car – For just £100, your business logo will be proudly displayed on our Eco-Vikings vehicle, seen by thousands along the route and across social media. For more information, contact info@circulayo.com

“It might be a bit wild, with all of the costumes, challenges, and long days, but knowing we’re raising money for such amazing charities makes it so worthwhile.” – Rachel Flinn, Sales and Operations Director, Circulayo and Eco-Vikings teammate.

We’ll be sharing our journey across Circulayo’s social media channels, so follow along for updates, behind-the-scenes moments, and maybe even a few questionable costume choices.

See you on the road!
